To take advantage of opportunities to create value, in addition to a well-thought-out plan for transforming a company, there must be a communications plan in place to facilitate a two-way dialogue between management and its workforce. Only if there is a common mindset among all employees—not just the management team—will the transformation be successful. The more involved the entire corporation is in making decisions, as well as taking part in the implementation of the new plan, the more likely the new organization will succeed in creating value for the company and all of its stakeholders.
